Genius Comics is a website dedicated to giving comic book fans a voice on
the internet. As such, while our intrepid leader, Clark Liles, seems to be
the sole contributor to the site, (except for fan art, because he can't draw),
and John's Crotch, (because he's not John), this website is really here
for everyone to join in and share their opinions, works of art and writing,
and anything else that comes to mind.
So, if
you are interested in getting something comic related on the web, we're
here. We'll put up just about anything* that's
related to comics.
What
can you submit?

Editorials and Comic
Articles: Got something on your mind
and want to tell everyone about it? Something got you angry about the X-Men?
Excited about a new direction for Batman? Want to laud the accomplishments
of Robert Kirkman? Complain that Liefield still publishes comics? Whatever
the topic, write it up and email it to me.
|
 |
Fan Art and Fan Fiction:
Have you written a story or drawn a picture with your favorite characters?
We'll put it up for their world to see.
|
 |
Comic Reviews:
Want to praise your favorite comic or criticize that comic you wish you
could get your money back for? Write up a review using your own format and
we'll post it.

 |
Whatever: Do you have an
idea for something that I haven't thought of? Well, let me know and I'll
give it serious consideration.
|
 |
Sex and Foul Language: Am I
willing to put up something if it contains foul language or sex? Have you read
John's Crotch? Hell, I sometimes throw in a foul expletive when the
spirit moves me. We will not turn anything down because of cussing or nookie.

*Things we might refuse:
Very rarely we might refuse things which
really push the limits of offensiveness - for example: racism, rape or
pedophilia. If you send something and I am reluctant to host it, I'll email
you and let you know the reasons. I will turn down
anything which contains a disrespectful amount of personal insults; anything
suggesting bodily harm should come to any living person (drawings depicting or stories containing real people being harmed,
maimed, or mutilated.); or similarly
offensive content. A political cartoon containing a politician you
dislike also containing a comic book character can go up whether we agree
with the political message or not, but a pin-up of Deadpool shooting George
Bush or John Kerry or Paris Hilton or anyone else will not be acceptable.
The same goes for stories.
