The very first Separation Boundary and the tone of 'silly superhero situations' has been set. This one is a gentle poke at merchandizing and the only appearence of Superman. What would irritate a guy born in the sea? The very first Batman / Spider-Man convo strip. It quickly became a regular feature. That third panel never fails to make me laugh! That's Robert Kirkman's Invicible in the background, BTW. My first two panel. I realize that I really love using Spidey! Poor Bruce, he can't catch a break AND he needs new trousers. The first strip that was Clark's idea. He is a HUGE Captain Marvel fan. Another commentary on the 'Captain Marvel' name fiasco. It took me forever to get the look of Hulk laboriously writing lines. This one always makes me giggle. If you're an X-men fan, that one sound effect carries a lot of weight. The first appearence of the Two Geeks and an ode to one of my fave writers. Also a gentle poke at some of the Bendis Board regulars. This began as a contest on the Shadows Board to use comic writer Jade Dodge's name and the name of her comic (Shadows) in a strip. A dig at the wild popularity of Wolverine. He appears in just about every Marvel title now, doesn't he? A classic silly play on words from Clark. Inspired by the scene with Hades in the animated Hercules kid's film. I just love Spidey in that last panel! Resuming the comic after 4 years (has it been that long?!) The original strips were done before I had Photoshop or a Wacom tablet and I'm struggling to maintain the primative feel while still 'cleaning up' a bit. These first three all feature Loki, a character I never liked until seeing Tom Hiddleston portray him in the film Thor. Now I'm in love! I adore the cheesy joke here and the last panel with Loki laughing never fails to make me giggle. I'm giving color a try, as you can see, having fun with Spidey's, Loki's, and Hawkeye's vibrant costumes. Spiderman is coming to grief AGAIN with his incessant ribbing of Loki. Spidey in Emma Frost's ridiculous costume is hilarious and, of course, only Deadpool ...
