Let me get the negative out of the way. Carl and Rick are pissing me off. Rick's all whiny and Carl's all complainy and Rick's pissy and Carl's a friggin' kid, and I have problems with major characters that are children.
Now, don't get me wrong...that's not a criticism of Robert Kirkman's writing. In fact, his writing is great. That's the problem...Carl and Rick are realistic and real people are annoying.
Rick tries to give Carl a driving lesson, but it's a little traumatic with zombies bouncing off the fenders. While Rick scavenges from nearby cars, Carl leaves himself open for a hungry zombie, but luckily Michonne shows up.
I am so glad Michonne turns up again. I liked her...like her. She'll help keep Rick and Carl from annoying me too bad.
Rick's trying to get back to Hershel's farm. He doesn't quite get there, but I won't spoil the surprise that he does come across.
Naturally enough, Adlard's art is great, though how a zombie keeps glasses on, I don't know. And Kirkman's story about Rick and the survivors he encounters is enthralling as usual.
