Living in Infamy Available for Free Download

In 2005, Ben Raab and Ludovico Technique published a wonderful limited series about villains trying to live a normal life after turning state's evidence and joining the Witness Protection Program. This clever series sporting wonderful art by Greg Kirkpatrick was called Living in Infamy.
I received word this week that Living in Infamy was now going to be available for download on Wowio.com. Better still, the comic is available for download AT NO COST! That's free comic people! You can't pass this up! Great story...for free! I think I'm going Raab-id!
Here's the official release...
Los Angeles, CA – January 30, 2008 – Publisher Ludovico Technique is proud to announce the re-release of the acclaimed miniseries LIVING IN INFAMY as an eBook on Wowio.com, the Web’s fastest growing digital book and comic distribution site. For the first time since its debut in 2005, all 4 issues of this rare, hard-to-find title are now easily available in one place – for FREE.
Hailed by many – from award winning writer Brian K. Vaughan to pop culture vanguard Ain’t It Cool News – as the series they wish they’d thought of themselves, LIVING IN INFAMY is about a witness protection town for reformed super-villains and is the brainchild of writers Benjamin Raab (Green Lantern, Afterworld) and Deric A. Hughes (Afterworld). It’s the story of the Blackbridges – Tom, Shana and their teenage son, Tyler – a seemingly average family harboring a dark, secret past that now threatens to destroy not only their quiet suburban existence, but the entire town’s as well.
Boasting 130 publishers, 3,200 titles and over 91,000 registered users who’ve downloaded nearly 1.2 million eBooks to date, Wowio.com is rapidly becoming the hot, new marketplace of choice for both established and indie creators alike. Within days of its initial offering on the site, LIVING IN INFAMY shot to #4 on its ten “Top Comics” list. “I’m very excited to see the enthusiasm our series generated during its release in comic book stores is being regenerated and expanded on the Web,” said Raab, “It’s extremely gratifying to know so many people are enjoying the series whether in hard copy or digital form. Thanks to Wowio, I’m confident our already growing fan base will only continue to multiply exponentially.”
For free downloads of all 4 issues of LIVING IN INFAMY – featuring covers by such award winning artists as John Cassaday (Astonishing X-Men, Planetary), Howard Chaykin (American Flagg), Chris Bachalo (Amazing Spider-Man) and Tim Sale (NBC’s “Heroes”) – go to www.wowio.com and register your own account.
