Reasons You Should Read MODOK's 11: Bodog's 4
#1 Reason MODOK’s 11 is a great pick – It’s in the title…Super-Villains. I love when super-villains get the focus and they become the protagonists. And make no mistake, unlike some villain titles, you’re not going to mistake them for heroes because they are doing good for some convoluted reason. They are clearly up to no good, and they are betraying each other, and it’s great!
#2 Reason MODOK’s 11 is a great pick – The Spot. He’s a great villain. He doesn’t bring with him life or death situations. He’s just a thief. He walks through spots to give from one side of a wall to another. He’s fun. He’s one of Spidey’s many “silly” villains whom I wish were used more. I mean, how bothersome could The Spot be if he put his mind to pestering someone? I’d love to see him creeping into titles all over Marvel just annoying everyone.
#3 Reason MODOK’s 11 is a great pick – MODOK himself. A giant head in a chair! That’s some good stuff.
#4 Reason MODOK’s 11 is a great pick – Fred Van Lente. He’s giving us a humorous tale where the villains are still villains and you don’t know whom to trust making it hard to tell what’s going to come next. AIM has an agent infiltrating MODOK’s group. Mentallo is looking to betray MODOK, and we don’t know exactly what MODOK is planning. We also don’t know who two of the eleven are yet. Which makes you wonder what Van Lente has planned for us. He’s created an interesting, fun, intriguing story, and I can’t wait for more.

Hey Evil genius! Great blog! Yes, your right MODOK rules..whats not to like?? I too love seeing super villians getting their own title..Bullseyes greatest hits, I dentity Disc, etc...and Modok is certainly one of my favourites! Check out my own blog, I have a small section on him,Ultron,Klaw and a bunch of others. The Superheroes would be no fun without the Supervillains right?
