Comic Pull 07/05/06
I'm getting...
52 #9 - Booster is such a tool. I love it!
Archenemies #4 - A very enjoyable series coming to an end. I wonder what Drew Melbourne will bring us next?
Ares #5 - My shocker hit of the Marvel nonevent miniseries circuit. Rumor has it that Ares is gearing up to join a notable Marvel Team...We'll see what happens.
BPRD: Universal Machine #4 - You just can't beat BPRD/Hellboy/Mignola goodness.
Dark Horse Twenty Years - A Pin-up book of creators drawing other creators Dark Horse works...and for only ONE QUARTER!!!
Friday the 13th: Jason vs. Jason X #2 - Jason vs. Jason X!!! GEEKGASM!
Goon #18 - One of my favorite comics on the racks!
Hack/Slash: Hard Slice - I've grown to enjoy Hack/Slash a lot...and this one is also only ONE QUARTER!
JSA #87 - Paul Levitz is bringing JSA to a close this week. I love the JSA for keeping the Golden Age alive. But they say the Justice Society will be back...We'll see what incarnation it will take this time.
Marvel Team-Up #22 - The Iron Maniac gets loose. Heaven help the Marvel U. I wonder if HE agrees with the superhero registration.
Outsiders #38 - The Outsiders vs. a French Gorilla and a brain in a shiny chrome bedside table. This is gonna be great!
Project Eon #1 - New series...follow the link.
Punisher #35 - Man, if Frank doesn't kill Barracuda soon...
Secret Six #2 - They really just need to make this an ongoing.
Skye Runner #3 - A very impressive addition to the realm of swords and sorcery comics.
Thing #8 - I love Benjie...and he's playing poker! Marvel poker games are always great. Has anyone suggested that to Marvel? Essential Marvel Poker Games, collecting the best stories centered around superheroes playing poker? If it happens, you heard it here first, true Believers.
Tick: Days of Drama #6 - Dude, it's the Tick!
Uncanny X-Men #475 - Ed Brubaker takes over, and I like Brubaker. He's bringing with his the Shi'ar, and if he's got the Shi'ar with him, how far behind will the Imperial Guard or the Starjammers be? I love the Imperial Guard and the Starjammers!
So, what'chu gettin'?
