BPRD: The Universal Machine #2...Universal Spoilers
Well, you can't go wrong with a Mignola BPRD/Hellboy title.
This issue dealt mainly with Daimio's history and what happened to his death and revival. Liz annoyed me with her insistance that EVERYBODY hear Daimio's story. What? She can't just tell Abe when she sees him again?
Anyway, I wonder if Mignola is going to have Daimio, along with the BPRD, encounter whatever it was that attack Daimio in Bolivia in a future BPRD series.
Dr. Corrigan gets whisked away in her search for the book about the Universal Machine, and by "whisked away", I don't mean tied up and tossed into the back of a van. She just disappears, and she doesn't realize she's not in the bookshop she entered. I have a bad feeling for Dr. Corrigan.
Great work, Mr. Mignola...well done, yet again.
